Looking for Linux Driver (2.6.28) for PCM1774 Device

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PCM1774

Hi Everyone,

I've inherited a piece of hardware with a PCM1774 DAC on it and I'm looking for a Linux driver for it. I've been trying to find the source code for  _any_ driver starting from the

URL, but I just end up going in circles. If anyone knows even if such a source file exists, I'd sure appreciate hearing about it. Meanwhile I'll go off to google and see if I can get some luck there.

Cheers

RF

  • In case you hadn't already guessed, my experience with audio is practically nil. To be specific, what I'd like to find is the I2C client driver for this device, or at least one similar so I could adapt it. As for the PCM to Audio conversion with this device on Linux, can anyone say whether I need a specific driver or will a generic Linux PCM driver suffice?

    Thanks
