TPA3118D2: 4 channels Single-ended connection

Dear Sir,

Our customer is asking to use 4 channels single-ended connection on TPA3118D2 (L+, L-, R+, R-).

Is it possible or any side effect if we use TPA3118D2 for 4 channels single-ended signal?

All channels output power should <5W.

Hi Kane,
Single-ended output connection is not recommended on TPA3118D2. Becasuse this device is not designed to support single-eneded output mode. For some old devices which support single-ended output, a circuit which is used to improve the pop performance is integrated internally, but it's not included in TPA3118D2. So if it's used in single-ended output mode, the pop noise performance will be an issue.
