Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS5558
Hi team,
The customer is using TAS5622-TAS5624DDVEVM. His PC is XP system.
On the first time, when he connects EVM to PC through Input-USB Board 3, the IIC address is 0x00A4 on TAS5558GUI.
Then on the second time, he unplugs the USB cable, then connect it to PC again, the IIC address is 0x6C on TAS5558GUI.
After the IIC address is OK, he configures the TAS5558GUI and uses the channel as the audio input signal.
The TAS5558GUI configurations are in the attachment.
The MCLK for TAS5558 is 12.288M,48K and 3M through the oscilloscope. But either in BTL or PBTL mode,
the 38-41 pins cannot output PWM and the voltage for these pins is 0V.
Then the customer get the PurePath console software. It is V1.16 version. But either on XP or WIN7, he cannot connect the EVM to PC
through PurePath console V1.16 version.
Q1: Is there any reason that why the first time the IIC address is not 0X6C, but the second time, it is 0x6C?
Q2: For the TAS5558GUI configurations, are them correct? Why cannot the 38-41 pins output the PWM?
Q3: If the customer uses a higher version PurePath console software, can the EVM be connected to PC?
Q4: If he uses the EVM to connect to PC through a higher version PurePath console software, can the 38-41 pins output the PWM?
Best Wishes,
