TPA6132A2: Using analog signal as a input

Dear Sir/Madam,

I want to use headphone amplifier IC, but the TPA6132A2 takes digital input, but I am interested in using analog input. Even in the filter I can't see the option for analog input. Please help with the correct IC part for analog headphone amplifier.

Hi Tapas,

Most of our headphone amps use analog input. TPA6132A2 is actually an analog input amplifier, too.
You can see this in the simplified schematic:

Digital input would be I2S bus. This amplifier inputs are analog differential INx+/INx-.

If I have only one differential input, can I leave INL+ and INL- floating or it needs some supply.

Tapas,

Yes, you can leave the unused inputs floating. You can also connect them to ground to avoid any possible noise to couple in the unused channel.
