PCM1808: The sound burst in PCM1808

Dear Experts

My customer use PCM1808 for their audio application but got sound burst in L channel of PCM1808.

The failure rate is around 20% in the factory.

So is there any other customer got the same issue?

Could you give me an email so I can send the schematics and layout to you for double checking?

    Hi, Jefferey,

    This is not a common issue for this part, so probably there is something wrong with the device configuration or I²S signal clocking. Please send me the schematics and layout for review. Is the PCM1808 configured as a master or slave device?. Also, can you please check with customer if they have a capture of the signal with the issue?. Do you know if they have tried reading the data from the PCM1808 using a different I²S processor?.
