We have TLV320AIC3100 on board and I am trying to enable DRC on it.. and I don't hear eny difference between DRC enabled and disabled mode.
What settings I have:
1) Setting Playback Volume on both cahnnels to 0dB/-12dB/other values
2) Enable DRC on both channels
3) Set DRC Threshold to different values(changind during playback to observe difference)
4) Set other params attack/decay/hold time
My playback sound is pretty loud.
During playback drc flags always set as DAC signal is below DRC threshold.
So, I don't see any difference with drc enabled and disabled..
In datasheet DRC is mentioned together with Processing Blocks. DAC PRB_P1 is a default processing block for DAC. Accordingly Table 5-25 DRC is not avialable in PRB_P1. Does it meen it is not working when PRB_P1 is choosed? Should I choose another Processing Block?
Should I setup IIR filter coeficients for DRC or can I use default values without setting them?
