Linux/TLV320AIC3106: High temperature effect is obvious

hi TIer

we us AM3354+TLV320AIC3106 in project,now we do a high temperature test. we us heat gun heating TLV320AIC3106, The BCLK and WCLK  frequency increases with increasing temperature,but heating AM3354  BCLK and WCLK frequency is almost unchanged.

Would you please help advise  what’s suggest, thanks!

    Can you please quantify what was the operating free air temperature was during your testing? NOTE that the device is TLV320AIC3106 is rated for 85degC(max). Also, what is the change in BCK and WCLK frequency that you observe?

    I overlooked a test step,The complete steps are as follows:

    1、Normal work at room temperature

    2、Test board put in standard high and low temperature test chamber,When the ambient temperature reaches 60 degrees Celsius, the test board is not working properly.

    3、Find problems for convenience so us hot air gun.

    4、TLV320AIC3106‘s WCLK frequency is 22.70khz(at room temperature)when  the temperature rises, the frequency increases to 23.15khz。

  • Is the device configured as master or slave? Can you please share the detailed device configuration?

    If the entire board is subject to temperature, it may be hard to isolate the issue...as far as heat gun goes, is is fair to assume the temperature when you see clock drift is around 60degC? Do you happen to have thermocouple on the device package to track at temp the device shows the clock freq change? Thanks.
