We have met a big challenge about the device PCM1808 used in a smart speaker project, and we need your support to help us solve the problem or give some suggestions.
Project relative info:
In the smart speaker project, customer chose the processor of MT8516 as platform to deal with some intelligence algorithm under the support of Google Assistance Cloud.
The customer needs AUX in function in smart speaker, and had intended to use PCM1808 as audio ADC to convert data. But it cannot work as customer’s expectation.
Challenge:
MT8516 only can support the sampling rate of 44.1 kHz and resolution of 16bit of each channel limited by software SDK which cannot be changed by customer(contains Google Assistance Cloud and intelligence algorithm).
Our PCM1808 device accepts 64-BCK/frame or 48-BCK/frame format (only for a 384-fS system clock), not 32-BCK/frame format.
Customer only accept 32-BCK/frame format.

We have met competitor AK5386 which has passed customer’s evaluation now, if this problem couldn’t be solved ASAP, we would lost this socket.
Could you kindly help to give some advices that which device is the best choice in this case or whether there is something else we have neglected?
