TLV320AIC14K: Codec Selection

Hi team,

The customer would like to select a audio codec. His requirements are as below:

Input: Analog audio source

Output: Class D audio amplifier

The codec should include low-pass filter + notch filter + AGC.

The price should less than 2$.

Now they would like to use TLV320AIC14K. Can TLV320AIC14K meet their requirements? If not, would you recommend a suitable device?

    Hi, Mickey,

    The TLV320AIC14K is a quite old device, and actually is not able to support the requirements from customer. Probably a good suggestion could be the TLV320AIC3107 audio codec, but the price may be an obstacle. We have other options with mono ADC and mono class-D speaker driver, like the TLV320AIC3100. Could you please provide more information about customer requirements like number of inputs/outputs and ADC/DAC channel count?.
