PCM1862: input source detect

Part Number: PCM1862

Sir,

We've 2 stereo analog input to PCM1862.

Could we detect which source is activated during PCM1862 sleep mode?

We would save external detection circuit if PCM1862  able to do it.

    Dear Kane,

    YES. We can detect the audio source when PCM1862 is in SLEEP mode.

    PCM1862 generates an interrupt when there is no audio coming in & enter SLEEP mode. When we have audio resume on either channel, the device is in ACTIVE mode and generates an interrupt. One can read Page0.Register 0x32 [SIGDET_STAT] to detect the source...
