TAS5766M: I2C multiple slaves/single Master

Two TAS5766Ms with the same i2c address CANNOT be on the same i2c bus. You might need to use an i2c multiplexer, like .

I2C spec requires that each i2c slave has a unique i2c address on one i2c bus.

one more question on my side: the TAS5766M has 7 bits for its own slave address. The first five bits (MSBs) of the slave address are factory
preset to 10011 (0x9x). The next two bits of the address byte are the device select bits which can be user defined by the ADR1 and ADR0 pins. A maximum of four TAS5766Ms then can be connected on the same bus at one time. Each TAS5766M responds when it receives its own slave address.
Assuming I connect two TAS5766Ms on the same I2C bus (each of them will respond when receiving its own slave address), can I use PPC3 yet to configure both of them?

customer would like to use our EVM to try configuring two TAS5766Ms - they don't have any board yet populated with TAS5766M.

Assuming they use our TAS5766MRMTEVM in conjunction with their host MCU, can they still use the In-System feature in the TAS5766_dual EVM app?

Is there any HW change they need to do on our EVM?

The test setup would be: PPC3 ->USB->TAS5766MRMTEVM->I2C->HOST MCU

Where are these two TAS5766Ms you were talking about? The two on TAS5766MRMTEVM or on the customer board?
