TLV320AIC3254: Implementing Half-Duplex Block

Part Number: TLV320AIC3254

Hi,

My customer is working on implementing their own half-duplex block in the AIC3254 miniDSP. They have successfully been able to transfer data from the D side to A side, but do not see a block to create negative gain if there is data being played over the speaker so the mic is essentially muted. Can you please share any feedback on how they can implement this?

Thanks,

Antonio

  • Hi, Antonio,

More than a negative gain block, I think that adding a volume control should be enough to attenuate the signal. I will take a closer look to this and will get back to you as soon as possible.
