We have ability to measure excursion & thermal limits as well as other T-S parameters and was wondering best work flow for utilizing that data for the Smart Amp integration in PPC3.

It is possible to overwrite the T-S parameters or others in the window below after you finish the speaker characterization step.

Hi Mike,

TAS5766M SmartAmp flow can only support stereo (2.0) applications. If you want to design a 1.1 system, I would recommend you take a look at TAS5872M, which has a dedicated SmarAmp flow for 1.1.

Hmmm. I see in the TAS5766MRMTEVM Users Guide it supports Dual Stereo.

What do you mean by 1.1?

I see theres A & B settings in PPC3 which can have separate amp and EQ settings?

By the way, TAS5782M is p2p to TAS5766M and therefore they can share the same hardware design.

I am looking to just build a prototype with EVM.    The users guide for TAS5766MRMTEVM says dual stereo.  To me that infers that 4 outputs are available and see that there are an A & B tab in PPC3 to configure 2 different amps.  I am hoping to set one amp (A) to be the low pass filter for crossover & the second amp (B) to be the high pass filter for crossover.  Is that acceptable? 

What do you mean by 1.1?  And p2p?

Yes. Dual stereo will be doable using TAS5766MRMTEVM.
