TAS5132: Questions on TAS5132's low power mode

Dear TI experts,

I am building a speaker product based on TAS5132. It comes to my attention that TAS5132 consumes approximately 200mA power when no audio signal is being supplied to it. Is there a way to put TAS5132 into low power mode?  Does putting both RESET_AB, RESET_CD into logic low state, casue the device goes to low power mode?

    Hi Peter,

    Yes, that is correct. Putting the device in RESET will decrease the power consumption. When the device is out of RESET or "ON", the device output is switching with 50% duty cycle. This is typically for Class-D amplifiers using AD modulation.

    Also, please see the TAS55xx modulator datasheet for ways to shutdown the modulator to decrease power consumption.
