I can't get the EVM GUI for LM48560 working. I have the exact same problem as this post from two years ago which was never resolved: 
Can someone please let me know what the correct method is to getting the EVM working with the GUI? Also, the user's guide has some steps which don't make sense to me. In section 2.2, steps 3 and 4 would essentially have you shorting the SCL and SDA pins to VDD and GND which doesn't make any sense for I2C mode. I tried doing the same steps with those jumpers completely disconnected and the USB/I2C board connected and it didn't help. I'm measuring a correct connections of SCL, SDA, GND, and VDD from the USB board to the EVM, plus the correct pullup resistance on the I2C nets, but the GUI still doesn't boot correctly.
