TAS6422Q1EVM: TAS6422 app installation problem with PurePath Console 3

Part Number: TAS6422Q1EVM

The download of the software "PurePath Console 3" works without any problems.
But as soon as I want to install the app "TAS6422 EVM" in the app center, following error report occurs:

"Problems occured during installation, and TAS6422 cold not be installed or updated."

I already checked the firewall and whether I'm working with administration rights or not, but nothing changed.

Because this error report gives not a single clue about what could be wrong, I can't give you more information at this point.

I attached a screenshot of the error report to this post.

  • Try closing out PPC3 and then reopen it. Then his the circular refresh button above the app box. Also please make sure you have any third-party pop up blockers turned off. then double click the TAS6422 tile again, and then you should get a pop-up that may offer to install the plugin. It should work from there. Also, are you in Windows 10? SOmetimes people have problems in Windows 10 due to other app interference. If the problem continues try on a different machine if possible.     the pop-up aswell as the progress bar of the installation appear.
    But a few moments later, the error report is shown.

    The software works perfectly on my laptop, but the problem occurs on a PC that we specifically use for audio measurements.
    Both systems run Windows 7.

  • This is very strange! Please uninstall and then reinstall the app and try again... Something hung up during installation. sorry for the trouble. Thanks, Jeff
