PCM5102A-Q1: Pop Noise during Zero Data Detect mode

Part Number: PCM5102A-Q1

[ PCM5102A-Q1 ] Pop Noise during Zero Data Detect mode

Hi,

My customer has reported the pop noise behavior during zero data detect mode.

Can you help to look into their findings and comment on it?

- No input data to PCM5102A-Q1 (PCM5102A-Q1 should be in zero data detect mode.)

- Play back beep sound

- At the instant of starting and ending data at DIN, pop noise occurs.

Is this expected behavior? Are there any ways to remove/improve this?

I have some waveforms and circuit schematics from customer, it’s appreciated if we can discuss more off-line.

Thanks,

Ken
