TAS5756M: TAS5756 GVDD Two-Step Ramp Up Sequence

Hi Sirs,

Would you pls check if my GVDD ramp up sequence in line with our device specification that the GVDD ramps up to 5.3V with PVDD and ramps up to 7V with I2S DIN ON? If yes, what is the GVDD's first step's voltage specification? My measurement was 5.3V while we need a range for customer's system level verification.

Hi Wayne,

I did some test on EVM with a supply voltage of 12V to analyze your two-step ramp up sequence.

With DIN on ahead, result is as follows:

In order to verify DIN's effect on GVDD, test results can be divided into two parts:

As is shown above, if DIN is not added ahead, the GVDD will boost up to 5.24V. Afterwards, if DIN is enabled, then GVDD will boosted again to 6.64V.

I will send the results to designers for further confirmation. Afterwards, I will give you feedback.
