Hi,

Should the startup timing capacitor(33nF) be connected between /CMUTE pin and GND if controlling /CMUTE pin with uC ?

Kato-San,

The capacitor to GND is always needed as the charging time is used to set the startup timing for the device. The Microcontroller should be connected through the 1k resistor as shown in datasheet figure 50 in place of the discrete MOSFET shown.
