As we are going to intergate PCM1789-Q1 chipset in our OS, we need a driver support for this for the kernel version 4.4.38

Hi Mohan,

The PCM1798 is a Hardware/Software controlled device, so there is no need or requirement of a specific software/driver for configuration. This device accepts digital I²S input, so you can use any I²S source as the input of the device.

Hi Paul,

We planned to use i2c as a control interface. So, driver is must for our implementation.
