Customer is looking for USB audio converter for smartphone accessory application.

They are reviewing PCM29xxC. So, Would you answer to driver low questions from them ?

1. Is PCM29xxC working with Android-OS of smartphone without driver ?

2. Is it needed for customer to install USB driver or develop USB driver required additional ?

Hi, Jun-Ho,

The PCM2903C is an audio device that uses the native USB audio codec driver from the Operating System. It should be recognized automatically by the OS once connected.

As well as PCM2903C, There are similar parts as below.. Is it right that these kind of devices works same in view of USB driver ? Thanks..

Correct, all the USB audio codecs we have use the same native driver.
