LM4950TA/NOPB (PTH package) v.s. LM4950TS/NOPB (SMT package)

Hi Sir, 

We're originally looking for National Semiconductor LM4950TA/NOPB (PTH package), which has been obsoleted already.  

And got advice for the drop-in replacement is TI:　LM4950TS/NOPB (SMT pacakge)

However, customer's design is particular for the PTH package (location with 2 rows to fit PTH design). 

Could you kindly advise if there's any through hole alternative suggested for LM4950TA/NOPB? or and advice to solve this issue.

    Hi Elena,

    Welcome to E2E, thanks for your interest in our devices.
    Unfortunately, this device doesn't have a direct replacement with a PTH package. You should consider that this device is very old and the newer devices don't use PTH packages.
    You should consider replacing this old part or redesign your system in order to use LM4950TS/NOPB.
