TPA0233: Electrical Characteristics Testing over entire operating Temp range

Page 4 of TI's data sheet for TPA0233 only shows electrical characteristics at ambient temp of Ta=+25 C.  Will these be the same readings at min temp Ta= - 40 C and max temp Ta= +85 C

    Hi Wayne,

    yes, the characteristics on page 4 are specified for an ambient temperature of 25°C and can change at other ambient temperatures.

    Hi Kai, Thank you for the timely response. Is there a way to find out what would data sheet specified electrical characteristics at the min temp (-40 C) and max temp (+85 C)? I thought TI is supposed to guarantee operation to stated data sheet over the defined operating temp? How would the customer know if a reading at -40 C is within spec or not?

    Hi Wayne,

    TI guarantees, of course, that the chip will work at an ambient temperature between -40°C and +85°C. But, nevertheless, the characteristics in the datasheet can vary when you move away from Ta=+25°C.

    Welcome to E2E, thanks for your interest in our devices.
    As Kai mentioned, we can guarantee that the device works at a temperature between -40°C and +85°C, but the device characteristics can vary with different temperature.
