Please see attached. You'll see it's from a Proteus simulation. The Mute switch is open with 0.00 mA but the amp is still outputting. With a non inverted amp the switch works fine. I'm sure it's just the spice model that's incorrectly configured. Not even sure where I got it from! I just wanted to make sure there is no problem with using the Mute function on an inverted amp in the real world before PCB production.
I would also like to request a sample of both the LM3886 and LM4780 before production, however, I could not figure out how to select them as samples on the TI site.
Any input is much welcome. Thanks!
