PCM5121 datasheet says a code example is provided in SLASE12.

SLASE12 is datasheet of PCM5242, but code example is not lined there.

Could you please share the code example?

According to the following description of datasheet page 46, Auto Clock Configuration bit is set page0/register 0x25.

"When the Auto Clock Configuration bit is set (Page 0/ Register 0x25), no additional clocks configuration is required."

Is auto clock configuration bit equal to DCAS?

Default setting of DCAS should be 0.

So default settings indicate that manual PLL settings by user is invalid.

Is it correct?

Hi Na na,

You can find the code example attached to this e2e post:

In it you will find that we disable automode when configuring the PLL for 3-wire mode.

Thank you for your reply.

I checked the e2e post you offered and got the example codes.
I will offer this code to the customer, but let me confirm the following.

In Audio-BCK-Slave.txt, PLL P divider seems to be set as 2. ( The code is "w 98 14 01")
I think it should be set as 1 for Fs= 48KHz ("w 98 14 00" )

Could you please check it out?

The customer tried the attached configuration file, but they said the processing flow does not work correctly.

/cfs-file/__key/communityserver-discussions-components-files/6/0247.base_5F00_main_5F00_Rate48.cfg

Pin 19-20 of W3 on the EVM is opened for 3-wired mode. (External SCK is disconnected from PCM5121)

Could you please check this code and give us feedback if any?

Hi Na Na,

This config file does not work for me either. Though when I switch to a different program in memory the DAC does work, which leads me to believe they are operating the PLL correctly. The issue could be with the flow itself. When I load just the coefficients portion of the included .cfg file, I see no output.

I have sent a request to connect so we can try to get a better understanding of the customer's solution.
