PCM4201: DC Coupled

Part Number: PCM4201
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PCM1804,

Hi,

The PCM4201 and PCM1804 both offer the ability to bypass the internal high pass filter.  I know these are not designed for DC applications and are not specified for DC error.

But would either device show any odd behavior in a DC coupled application?

Regards,

Jake

  • Hi, Jacob,

There is no characterized data for DC applications for these parts, so we cannot guarantee the devices will behave as expected in this operation mode. It would be a matter of testing the functionality of the devices in the system and see if their operation meets the requirements. I have notified my colleague in charge of this part so he can add more comments about this.
