Hi, Team,

A customer has question for the PCM5121 I2C spec. The I2C Bus Rise/Fall Timing of PCM5121 is the below value(D/S p57). Does Standard Mode require "20 + 0.1Cb"?

Standard 20 + 0.1Cb
Fast 20 + 0.1Cb

"20 + 0.1Cb" seems to be not included in I2C standard. Sorry I'm not familiar with the I2C spec...

Hello Yone-san,

In this case Cb is defined as the capacitive load on the either the SDA or SCL pins. We specify a max Cb of 400pF. So if you were using the max cap load, then the specification minimum would be 20+.1(400) ns, or 60ns. This is the way we adjust timing minimums for capacitive load on the digital lines.
