TLV320AIC3212: I2S mixer

Dear Sir:

               Below is block diagram of TLV320AIC3212. Does TLV320AIC3212 can meet below behavior?

1.Mix I2S_in_1 & Line_in and through I2S_out output

2.Mix I2S_in_2 & Line_in and through I2S_out  output

3.Mix I2S_in_1 & I2S_in_2 and through I2S_out  output

    Hi, Jason,

    The mixing function described is not possible with the AIC3212 as the I²S buses are independent, although can be used at the same time, there is no option to perform a mix between them.

    We have a device similar to the AIC3212, the TLV320AIC3262, this device features a configurable miniDSP where the user can develop several audio processing options, like equalization, mixing, sound effects, etc. The mixing of different I²S buses of the AIC3262 is possible within the miniDSP; I would recommend you to take a look to this device instead of the AIC3212 in order to meet the requested mixing options.

    Dear Diego:

                          Our system block diagram as below picture , If we want to mix 2 I2S  input signal from HDMI RX and through I2S output , We have 2 question as below:

    1.If same sample rate , can I used MUX to switch either one  MCLK from HDMI RX into MCLK of AIC3262?

    2.If different sample rate , How to connect 2 MCLK from HDMI RX into MCLK of  AIC3262?
