TAS5624A: TAS5624A : What will happen if PVDD drops below 12V

Part Number: TAS5624A

Dear Sir,

My customer would like to confirm the consequences when PVDD drops below 12V.

In datasheet, the recommended operating PVDD min is 12V but the under-voltage protection limit typical is 8.5V.

 Thanks.

Best regards,

Chin

  • Chin,

We cannot guarantee device performance as listed in the datasheet if the PVDD drops below the 12V Min recommended. The reason that the UVP is lower than 12V is because this allows the device to have short dips in the power supply during a strong music transient or similar, also known as Hysteresis.

    Regards,
