TAS2505: TAS2505 operation without I2S input, analogue only

Part Number: TAS2505

Hi,

I just saw the following comment from Ivan Salazar in another TAS2505 related thread:

It is not recommended to operate TAS2505 without I2S input. The device is not able to resume a normal operation after the I2S signals are not present, it will need to be reinitialized.

In our application we are hoping to use the TAS2505 with input from either the I2S OR from analogue input in a mutually exclusive manner.

Does Ivans comments suggest that you do not recommend using the TAS2505 with analogue input only? Or does it simply indicate that the device needs to undergo re-initialisation when changing from I2S input to analogue input?
