Hi

1.

If some errors like shown in Page0/Reg37  is detected when auto mute function is enabled, how does the device operate?

2.

Page 0 / Reg 37 indicates a resister to ignore various error, like clock detection error.

If these errors would occur, how to recover?

BestRegards

  • Hi Usui-san,

Whenever an clock error is detected (and not set to be ignored), the device will enter standby mode. If the device was already automuted, you would not notice a difference. If the condition that put the device in auto-mute (no data signal) disappears, the clock error will still keep the device in standby. If the both the data returns and the clock error goes away, the device will resume normal operation.

If the error is being ignored but does exist, the device might exhibit symptoms of that error- for example, if the clock error is caused by an invalid LRCK/BCK ratio, then there could audible errors. Generally, remedying the error will allow the device to return to normal operation.

    Thanks!
