TAS2505: Suggested mcu to work with this amplifier

Part Number: TAS2505

Hi All,

I have been trying to port my design to use this digital audio amplifier and a PIC24 processor.  I have run into several issues.  Can someone suggest a TI micro controller that has I2S, and I2C and separate SPI bus, low power, 24 or less pins with at least 32K up to 64K ROM and as much ram as possible?

  • Hello Charles,

Currently, we do not offer an MSP430 MCU with an I2S module. We do have the following app note on how to connect an I2S interface to an MSP430, but I am unsure if it will meet the performance you desire. (http://www.ti.com/lit/slaa449 )

You might have better luck with an MSP432 or TIva class device for emulating I2S with SPI peripherals.
