TAS5753MD: Do I need to disconnect I2C lines during start-up?

Part Number: TAS5753MD

The TAS5753 datasheet calls for all digital inputs to be held low before DVdd is brought up.  But my I2C lines are naturally pulled up instead of down.  It seems like I would need to isolate the lines from the TAS5753 with a switch or level shifter with an enable line in order to guarantee these lines will be low at power-up.  Do you have any advice for how I should handle these lines during power-up?

  • Hi John,
For power-up sequence, please make sure the PDN and RST are in low voltage untill AVDD/DVDD and PVDD are powered up and stable. In this way, pop noise during power-up can be avoided. So RST and PDN pin can be pulled down to GND by ~10kOhm resistors. And I don't think there is any problem that the I2C are pulled up to High voltage during power-up.
    Best regards,
