PCM2900C: Evaluation board

Will The PCM2900C evaluation board allow me to to run the chip in hardware mode, insert an analog signal into the eval board, and record the analog signal on my computer using the USB connection on the eval board?

Hi Tony,

The PCM2900C evaluation board is designed to allow you to do just that. Please take a look at the user guide, there is also an analog output on the board.

The user guide mentioned the USB was there to evaluate performance. But did not specifically mention to send the audio data to the computer.

That is one of the benefits of these usb codecs, they are designed to seamlessly function with a computer. plug and play.
