Dear all,

can you please provide a guideline on the selection of the capacitance on PVDD pin ? Moreover are there any other parts required on that line , such as ferrite line ?

Hi Kai,

thanks, but in the document you referred to there isn't anything related to the calculation of the bypass capacitance.

Hi Domenico,

what do you want to calculate? The cap values are just what the designers have found to be suited to provide a proper decoupling even to the highest frequencies with the layout used in the EVM.

Hi Kai,

the total decoupling capacitance is given by the sum of electrolytic and cermic capacitances. How the amount of electrolytic and ceramic is calculated ?
