TPA6130A2: Asking for the TPA6130EVM noise

HI Team,

Customer uses TPA6130 on the new design. Cusotmer play 1kHz and tune the 0x02 volume. There is small pop noise during tuning the volume. (ie. volume change from 0x3D to 0x3C on register 0x02)

If playing music or do not play music, customer cannot hear the pop noise.

Could you please confirm the pop noise on TPA6130EVM while tuning the volume?

    Hi SHH,

    This device doesn't feature a soft volume adjustment, so slight pop could be present when changing the gain. The recommendation is to fix the gain setting on TPA6130A2 and perform the gain adjustment in a previous stage.
