TPA3136D2: Decoupling Resistor - Please help

Part Number: TPA3136D2

TPA3136D2 app note 11.1 states the following:

".... Also, a small decoupling resistor between AVCC and PVCC can be used to keep high frequency class-D noise from entering the linear input amplifiers."

My question is how to do apply this to my design? Does it simply mean placing a resistor in series between the AVCC and PVCC? Or does the resistor go in series with the Decoupling Capacitors to ground?

Thank you.
