Hello

We see the discription about ' echo cancellation' in page 1 of TAS5825M data sheet.

Would you please let me know how customer achieve echo cancellation using SDOUT?

I could not see any infromation about echo cancellation in slaa786.

Hi Kanjin,

The internal DSP of TAS5825M is NOT running any echo cancellation algorithms. These algorithms have to be run in the host processor.
The I2S output (SDOUT) from TAS5825M is fed back to the host processor and used for echo cancellation.

Please give me one more comment.

I understood that TAS5825M uC-DSP has no echo cancellation.

Anyway, TAS5782M has also SDOUT (GPIO2 is used in process flow ) .

The reason why TAS5825M data sheet especially describes "acoustic echo cencellation "

is you have any sucess story ? ( TAS5782M can do same thing?)

I don't know difference bewteen TAS5782M and TAS5825M except input fs up to 96KHz /192KHz .

Hi Kanji,

The SDOUT from TAS5782M can also be used for echo cancellation.

TAS5825M belongs to a completely new family. It is based on a new process technology and has integrated several innovative IPs. In term of process flows, TAS5825M has more advanced flows.
