Linux/TLV320AIC3100: How to enable Equalizer settings?

Part Number: TLV320AIC3100

Tool/software: Linux

Hello TI,

We are having a custom board with TI processor AM3351
and we are using a TI codec TLV320AIC3100 for audio playback.
Audio playback is perfectly playing fine.

For using the DAC processing blocks in adaptive mode, I changed the page to 8 by writing 8 into register 0, then I tried to write into Page 8 register 1 Bit D2 for enabling adaptive filtering mode and then read back the register value. But the read back register value is always 0. Do you have any idea, what may be the issue ?

Linux version:
4.1.18-gbbe8cfc #1 PREEMPT Tue Dec 5 17:22:08 IST 2017 armv7l GNU/Linux
We have got linux sources from this TI link: http://software-dl.ti.com/processor-sdk-linux/esd/AM335X/04_01_00_06/index_FDS.html
This is linux processor sdk from TI.
And we have built this branch : processor-sdk-linux-02.00.02 using yocto build with arago-tmp-external-linaro-toolchain.

thanks,

aniket
