TAS5731M: 2.1ch Mode for TAS5731MEVM&GUI

Hello Shawn-san,

Does the I2C r/w operation work normally?
⇒It works.
Please make sure the environment variables is changed to 0x34 in the Windows system.
⇒I already confirmed "0x34"

Then I consider about 2.1ch process flow .
So I had made it.
However, there are some things to do beforehand when running this ProcessFlow.
After opened ProcessFlow,
1. Change Mode in SystemPropaties to 2.1
2. Check Shutdown in ProcessFlow and Mute of MainVolume
3. MainVolume is squeezed to the minimum
4. Leave the SE output terminal of TAS 5731 EVM unconnected

Without doing these work, it did not work.

Please let me know if you have anything to know with these contents.

I was able to create ProcessFlow in 2.1 ch mode.

However, I could not find the documentation of these settings anywhere.

I have one more question.
My customer asked us about output of sub channel at default setting for TAS5731M.
Setting condition is as follows,
1. pfw⇒default
2. Mode：2.0⇒2.1（System Propaties）
3. Run
4. See sub channel output
Looking at the output of the sub channel, LPF of fc = 100 Hz seems to be contained
　But EQ 4 a is in ALLPASS state.
Is Default set to fc = 100 Hz?
Please let me know why fc = 100 Hz.

I have checked default setting.
Then data of EQ4a is not all pass data.
So I think that data of fc = 100 Hz is put in advance so that output of 2.1 ch can be obtained immediately at startup.
Is this correct?
