Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPA6111A2

I am trying to duplicate a design that calls for STMicroelectronics ICs but I find that Mouser and D-K both indicate they are obsolete parts. Does TI have suggested equivalent replacements for the following?

STMicroelectronics, TS486ID, 100 mW Headphone Amplifier.

STMicroelectronics, TDA7309D, Digital Controlled Stereo Audio Processor with Loudness.

And as long as I am asking for TI equivalent parts does TI have a suggested equivalent for the following?

STMicroelectronics TDA7391PD/E-TDA7391PD, Differential input single BTL output power amplifier with stand-by and clip detection--32 W bridge car radio amplifier.

    Hi Lawrence,

    The direct replacement for TS486ID would be TPA6111A2. Although you could take a look at other devices, from TPA613xA2 family, that have an integrated charge pump that allows you to remove the output coupling capacitors as the outputs are ground-centered.

    Regarding TDA7309D this looks like a switch. Perhaps you could post a specific question for this device at switches & multiplexers forum: e2e.ti.com/.../

    TDA7391PD description suggest a high power Class-AB amp. Most of our high power amps are already Class-D, which is better for power consumption.
