Hi there,

I have one question on CC8520. I refer to datasheet Page 2 on interference item.

It mentions this part utilises numerous coexistence mechanisms to avoid interence from other 2.4GHz radio systems.

May I know for Car Audio application case, can you kindly explain how is the intereference is avoided from the Bluetooth module?

Would appreciate if you can provide me some information on the inteference performance under car audio environment application, thanks.

Hi Phil,

The CC85xx use adaptive frequency hopping and listen-before-talk. These algorithms are described in the CC85xx family user guide (http://focus.ti.com/lit/ug/swru250b/swru250b.pdf) section 2.4.3 and 2.4.4. Bluetooth is also a frequency hopper, so the CC85xx network and the bluetooth network will pick different frequencies to operate on, and thereby coexist with eachother. Soon we will release an app-note where testing against bluetooth and WiFi will be presented. (We don't have tests for inside a car though).

Was the aforementioned app note on BT and PPW co-existance ever published?
