TPA3110D2: In case of monaural output

Hi all

Would you mind if we ask TPA3110D2?

<Question1>
TPA 3110D2 is not possible to use monaural output with single-ended.
Is it correct?

<Question2>
In case of monaural output with BTL, does the noise increase compared with stereo output?
If we use monaural output with BTL, what points should we take care of it?

    Hi Hirotaka-san,
    TPA3110D2 doesn't support single-ended output mode. In single-ended output mode, the output power range is only 1/4 of differential output mode. Besides, the differential mode provides better common noise supression as you know. And the most important thing is that the pop noise could be very large if TPA3110D2 is used in single-ended output mode. Please check TPA312xD2 family devices, they have the special block internally to resolve the pop noise issue and support single-ended output mode very well.
