Part Number: PCM1860
Is there any documentation besides the datasheet on the EnergySense function, particularly on the PCM1860 (HW controlled)?
It’s our understanding that in order for the PCM1860 to generate an interrupt, the device must be powered but in Sleep mode, wherein the I2S interface (BCK and LRCK) is inactive. Once input signal is detected by the EnergySense function, it triggers the interrupt, which will keep firing until the processor activates the I2S interface. Once BCK and LRCK are active (out of Sleep Mode), the PCM1860 stops generating the input, right? We also want to verify that as long as the I2S bus is active, the EnergySense function is inactive and will not generate an interrupt.
Please advise. Thanks!
