TAS2557: Question of TAS2557 EQ Tuning in ROM Mode

Hi Sirs,

1. Does TAS2557 support EQ in ROM mode as TAS255 does (picture below)? How can we bring up the TAS2557 in ROM mode and do EQ tuning in PPC3?
2. Can TAS2557 send SDOUT in ROM mode?

Hi Wayne,

ROM Mode 2 sends IVsense data to SDOUT, this applies for all SmartAmps.
ROM Mode 1 and 2 can be written into the device from the "Test and Measurement" panel within TAS2557 app in PPC3. The EQ can be adjusted from "Audio Processing" under Equalizer panel, by using the first 6 biquads.

Hello Ivan, Thanks a lot. Would you pls review my process:

1. Bring up the TAS2557 to ROM mode in "Test and Measurement" panel
2. Go to "Audio Processing", tune the first 6 BQ (ignore other settings)
3. Assign "ROM mode" in System Integration.
