TAS3251: Delay sample possibility ?

I look at an active speaker 1.1 configuration with Woofer and Tweeter. In the TAS3251 datasheet, I do not see a DSP option do delay samples on one channel. This is an option described in SLAU577A Using the TAS5754/6M and PCM5242 HybridFlow Processor (Rev. A)

This is described in section 7.6 :

HybridFlow 3 offers a Delay Select in series with Channel A. This allows time aligning Channel A with Channel B due to the delay associated with PBE and DBE processing only available with Channel B. Channel A can be delayed by up to 16 samples.

Has TAS3251 this feature ?

Hi JMF,

In the 1.1 process flow, go to the crossover page, and click on the cog in the top right corner. This will show a menu for samples of delay for the tweeter or woofer channel, as well as inversion.

Looks good ! even if not documented in the datasheet.
I hope that the PurePath console tool is available to hobbyist, as it seems mandatory to configure the TAS3251 (my first request seems to have been denied).

By the way, is it intended "at some point" to share the software implemented in the TAS3251 EVM ?

Hi JMF,

Thank you for the feedback. We are always trying to improve our documentation.

We do plan to make more information about the MSP430 code available in order for new flows to be added. We do not have a date for the release of this yet.
