Part Number: LM1875

Hi Team,

We are confused about the orderable part number and the packages of LM1875T.

In its datasheet here 

http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/lm1875.pdf

we can see it describes that it has a package type of KC0005A, which is a all-straight-leads package. 

But we cannot see any oderable part number with this KC type package, all available are NEB and NDH

So what is the difference of LM1875T and LM1875T/LB03?  Are they in fact in different packages?

Is there a chance that the LM1875T are in KC0005A package?

    Hi nestor,
    It's not available any more. LM1875 is a very old device, and we have a lot of new class-D audio amplifier devices. Please check with TPA3112D2, I believe it's appropriate replacement.

    Hi Shawn，

    I understand that the device is very old, and there are new devices better suited.
    However, on TI website, LM1875 is still in ACTIVE status, and our customer would be very glad if they can continue use their original design.
    In their new design, new devices would be welcome.
    Can you help to clarify this order information for LM1875?

    Hi nestor,
    I think I already explained that the KC0005A package is not available any more. You can see this in the sample order list, but the datasheet is not updated. All of the available devices are contained in that table. There is no difference in the device package between LM1875T and LM1875T/LB03. They only have the different tape & reel pack.     So, do you mean that LM1875T and LM1875T/LB03 are in same package(since they are both marked 'NDH'), and LM1875T/LF02 and LM1875T/LF05 are in same package(since they are both marked 'NEB')？

    Your understanding is correct. The pacage drawing column shows the device package.

    It states that actually LM1875T/LF02 and LM1875T/LF05 are in different packages although they are both marked 'NEB'.
    So is there a chance that the LM1875T and LM1875T/LB03 are different packages although they are both marked 'NDH'?

    Hi nestor,
    You are right that 'NEB' has two packages - they are very similar but slightly different. But 'NDH' has only one package 'NDH0005D', so LM1875T and LM1875T/LB03 have the same package.
