Hi Expert,

I found TAS2505 has the auto mute function for a DC level into DIN, does TAS2560 has the function? Thanks!

Hi Jerry,

TAS2560 doesn't have this function, but TAS2560 has two clock error detection blocks. When enabled an ASI clock error detection can soft-mute the device, then it shut down the class-D and DSP core.

But the clock is good, only DIN is a DC level. Customer feedback that the clock error can't detect it. Any other idea? Thanks!

Hi Jerry,

Unfortunately TAS2560 does not feature an auto-mute like TAS2505.
There seems to be no easy way to do this, perhaps only by doing some previous processing and controlling TAS2560 when silence is coming in.
