PCM1754: PCM1754 internal pulldown value

Part Number: PCM1754

In PCM1754 datasheet stated that some input pins are Schmitt-trigger input with internal pulldown. May i know the internal pull down resistor value?. What is the recommended external resistor value for Mute pins?.

  • Hi Madhan,

The pins with the pull down are DEMP, FMT, MUTE, and TEST. Given the IIH current specification of 65uA typical and 100uA max, I would say the pull down values are typically 50kΩ, and at minimum 33kΩ. Are you talking about a pull up resistor for MUTE? Given that the VIH level for the device is 2V, you should be good for any value less than 10kΩ.
Rpu = 33kΩ*2V/3.3V = 20kΩ, but that is an edge case, so 10kΩ or less is recommended.

    Thanks!
    Paul
