TPA3118D2: Power consumption in idle state(speaker is connected but no sound)

I'm using TPA3118  for my power amp.

I want to know how much current is supplied in normal state, no wave generation.

Current my amp is consuming 1A at 25V input. This current is varied a little when I play a music. It's lower than 0.5A.

Is this normal?

If it is not, let me know how much current is used in normal state.

    Hi SH,
    The TPA3118D2 idle current is ~32mA with 24V PVCC. For your measurement, it's not easy to verify with the music inout file. Could you please try to use 1kHz sinewave? Please measeure the RMS value on the speaker load, and calculate the power consumption on the speaker. Then calculate the PVCC total power consumption from the power supply and compare it to the output power.
